Stream Music to your Android Phone Easily with Dropbox
Dropbox is a great solution for sharing and syncing files between multiple computers. However, some of you may not be aware that you can use Dropbox to stream mp3 files to multiple devices, including your Android phone. First, you’ll need an Dropbox account, which you can sign up for at the Dropbox website. You may also want to download the Dropbox app for Android, but you can also use Dropbox from the Android web browser.
Once you get set up, you’ll jus simply have to add some MP3 files to your Dropbox folder and allow them to sync. This should take more than a few minutes at most.
Next, open the Dropbox app or site in your browser and find your songs. Tap one to begin streaming…
And playback should begin momentarily.
Really not much to it. Granted, alot of Android phones will have plenty of space to store music on the go, even more than the 2GB allowed by Dropbox, but if you have a selection of tunes you want easily accessible on any computer or mobile device, Dropbox makes for a nice solution.
