Automatically Open Windows 7 Media Center on Startup

This is a simple little setting you will probably want to enable if you use your Windows 7 Media Center setup as a standalone HTPC device. Tip: You can also open Windows Media Center from a Media Center remote by pressing the Green Button.
Click on the Settings tile located under Tasks.

Then select General…

Then Startup and Windows Behavior…

Then tick the Start Windows Media Center when Windows starts checkbox. Click Save when you are done.

Now Windows 7 Media Center will run on startup every time you turn on your computer. It will open in either Windowed or Full Screen mode based on the mode it was running in the last time you closed the application.
