The week started with a bang with a report that Google did not disclose a potential data breach in Google+, likely contributing to the tech giant’s decision to shut down the social networking platform. Also of note this week was Facebook’s crackdown of more than 800 accounts that the company said were spreading misinformation, as well as new fake Adobe Flash samples discovered peddling cryptominers and a new Android trojan strain found in the wild that researchers said could change the malware game forever.
